3d Battalion goes into the woods and run into some Panzers Grenadiers ...
and are disordered but hold their ground...
Panzer Engines are engaged by infantry and AT guns using HE
I think we have spotted the main German armor thrust, Panzer IVs, StuGs and Panther OH MY!
1st and 3d Panzer Grenadiers advance on the 1st Battalions position and the 7th moves in to support them.
US artillery and AT guns hits the Germans as they come in... hurting them...
The 7th hits the 3rd Panzer Grenadiers and the artillery disorders the 4th Panzer grenadiers
The 3rd Panzer Grenadiers are driven off and the two First are locked in close combat.
The 3rd Battalion finally breaks and runs 4th Panzer Grenadier move in on the 1st Battalion.
StuGs move into contact...
1st Battalion is broken but US Artillery is preregistered on the location and smashes the 1st Panzer Grenadiers.
The Germans assault the lower left corner of our position.
The 4th & 7th Battalions counter attack into the town.
The Engineers and 8th hammer the StuGs... Shermans engage the 5th Panzer Grenadier
the battle for the town is intenseness with Six Battalions in various state of readiness on both sides. My second Battalion break but then so does the 3rd Panzer Grenadiers.
