Active Armor Thrown to the Wolves Hurtgen Forest

 

We have a difficulted situation driving in on a fortified German position in the Hurtgen Forest 

the 7th engenders clear the wire the fall back with heavy losses to regroup off board while the 1st and 6ht battalions move in to assault the town. The 4th and 5th prepare to assault the fortified line

Fighting is close, fierce and indecisive

Armored forces move to secure the bridges

The 6th gets into the town of Vossenack but the StuGs are still out of the.

The second assaulted the stuGs and drive them off I got my objectives but the counter attack would probably crush my depleted force
