Bad Squiddo Games Shield Maiden (2)

 Another Great figure form Bad Squiddo Games (Annie the Dice bag lady) new line of believable female miniatures. Unlike the previous example this is not a woman taking up a weapon in defence of hearth and home but a full time warrior.

 She wears trousers and wields an axe.  The pose is dynamic but well balanced, I can imagine the shield fending off and enemy weapon as she drives forward with an up ward swing of an ax.

 I saw a similar design on another shieldmaiden so I decided to copy it

 I opted for a generic base as I plan to use this lady with in my dark age army, which doesn't mean she won't find her way to Frostgrave at some point.
