Fancy Pants Yankees
So to break up the plain old blue ranks of my Union Army I decided to pick up Blue Moon's Garibaldi Guard. The red Zouave style pants and feathers make for nice splash of color.
The 39th New York was called the Garibaldi Guard and had a very varied ethic make up with three German, and three Hungarian companies, and one each of men of Swiss, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese background.
The Bases still look a little plain so I may dress them a bit more latter.
