Challenge Week 9

Well I bust past 1000 points last week and then added some more this week.  Currently I am sitting in the #8 position with 1219 points towards my new goal of 2000.  The Myth Bonus round has wrapped up and unfortunately I did not place despite this being, in my opinion, my best painting job of the contest..

Still Thor should net me another 55 points bringing me to 1274.  I'm working on an entry for the Hot bonus theme a Platoon of Foreign Legion Sappers which I though was fitting both for their tropical deployments and their tendency to be were the fighting is hottest.
Snow Storms are crimping my style again this week but such is winter in New England. Pictures of some other recent projects
