Check Your Six (3) at 3 Trolls

This week the scenario was the attack of flight of Betty Bombers on a US air field (it might have been Chinese)
I had a two plane flight on the right wing of the US formation. John had the 4 white tails in center while Charlie had the two plane formation on the left.
 John raced ahead  at the center of the Japanese formation. I was tailing along to the right an behind hoping not to be noticed.
 Dick as you can see I did not grant me my wish.
 Though I am avoiding the massive "Fur Ball" in the center.
 My goal is to drive right at the bombers and try and take the right most with both planes all my fire power..
 Dick took down won of my planes  but one of his runs out of ammo doing so its one to one.

 Another Zero swings in from my left and gets a light hit I take out one of the Betty's engines but...
Dick takes me down!  I was able to bail out both my pilots so I have a pilot with 3 kills at this point... In total 3 bombers were knocked down and two others were damaged.

Check you Six (2) at 3 Trolls

Ariana is working this Saturday so it was an opportunity to visit 3 Trolls and play some Check you Six.   I commanded a flight of 2 Avengers and 2 Wildcats (one of my favorite World War II air craft.) our mission was to bomb a cargo ship and shoot up as many Japanese  "Mavis" sea planes as possible.
I sent my Bombers with the pack with two Wildcats acting as escorts heading straight into the anchorage.  I deftly maneuvered under the clouds while the Japanese fighters were above them. As I result I managed to avoid getting shot at until I was on top of the ship.  The Wildcats were on the left end of the formation... flying straight at a Mavis that was taking off.
 The Zero float plane and I tried to shoot as we were closing in bullets rip the sky but none land home. and I power past diving to close on the Mavis.
 I close in and one of my Wildcats scores powerful hit but the Mavis just makes its saving throw! (the one time I rolled well all day!) on top of that one of my panes is now out of ammo..
 My second plane scored a light hit... causing it to smoke I am now tailing... if I don't run out of ammo I will eventually get the Mavis. The scenario ended after this turn so... I will tell the the men at the air field I got it!
Lots of bullets and bombs fly about the cargo ship.. we got 4 of 8 hits need to sink no to bad.

Check your Six at 3 Trolls

As my lady was working today I was able to make my way to 3 Trolls for a rare Saturday morning game.  They were playing a game called Check your Six I was flying two Petes a Japanese float plane fighter defending a sea plane carrier.
The US is attaching from form two directions we choose to try and head off the Dauntless Dive Bomber hoping the Avengers would take too long to get in and get hits. My planes are the two in gray. 
Hear come the Avengers... seeming to have a free and clear run...
 I've got my eye on two Dauntless dive bombers...
But in turn turning in be hind them I find myself in the cross hairs (actually latter in the game it was remembered that a Dauntless with a bomb has only a range of 1 with its forwarded MGs, oh well)
At least this benefited my survivor. My dice rolling is terrible I got a few hits but never rolled enough damage to hurt a single US plane.
The US take a lot of hits but break through and land one torpedo on the Seaplane carrier they manage some damage but not enough to sink it so the day ends in a draw.
