They're Scarabs, Flesh Eaters....

 When I saw the Mummy in 1999 the scariest creatures in the film was these little guys. The scariest thing about them was that they were presented as "real"  something every Egyptologist knew about and probably accepted as a hazard of doing the job.

So when I saw them among the Bones Miniatures at my local shop I had to grab some. I used some blue embossing powder to give them a sparkly quality to you see in a lot of insects and I I am quite pleased with the results.
