A Dismal Bloody Fight Seckenheim 1462

My Hungarians Charge a force of Skirmishers
They over run the skirmishers...
and then are charged first by nights...
and then by mounted crossbowmen... that was all in turn one... they  were wiped out until turn two... but  I got good service out of those guys.

Turn two sees the Swiss arrive and my Billmen charge them...
And We disorder the Swiss pike block

My Billmen are wiped out but my knights charge and wipe out the Swiss
Then we are charge in turn....
a massive melee results and my Knights are defeated and I am captured.

Battle of Dijon 1870 (La Guerr a Outrance)

This time I was the Prussians trying to take a French Position held by Colonial troops and Italian vlunteers.

In the open turn we establish that like in Star Trek wearing Red Shirt gets you killed quickly.

We had a flanking position...
But a group of Tuccos storm in and drive us back after a bloody melee
So much of the flanking position.
On the other flank my corps Artillery drives some more volunteers out of a village... but  My cavalry was destroyed in a clash with French cavalry.
My second division arrives, its artillery disorder a French battery and was then road down by my cavalry... My cavalry was driven off in trun.
ON the left the French consolidate, but my artillery drives the Tuccos off
Prussian Artillery does damage to French troops but not quite enough to break them.
Then disaster... on of my infantry brigades is ridden down.   Artillery dives the French cavalry back.
A charge on the village is tried but my men break and fall back...
The last desperate charge drives the Italian volunteers off... but my army is also broken.  Its a very bloody draw.

More like Foxes then Lyons: Defrence of Le Crotoy

Arofan hosted this remote game using his rule set More like Foxes then Lyon.  This scenario was based on a landing (raid) on the French coast.

The Scotts Fusiliers are already ashore as my battery fires on the troops still in the boats.
French troops are on their way to the rescue!
French troops advance but time is already running short.
The Scots storm the battery and take it as the survivors of run for thier lives.
The English are ashore but seem reluctant to advance...
the French move up on their left and open fire hitting the Germans hard.

Firing back and forth becomes general, I'm holding my won except for the disproportionate damage coming from the naval gun fire.
With two units hit and shaken by the ship (and some failed rally rolls) I lose my best chance to break the Allied center. Still my opponent is having just as much trouble making head way.
Both side have a battalion and a battery lost. Arofan is looking into what happed with the Naval gun fire and we agreed after that the English needed to have a turn limit (I advanced so we would have a game but logically there was no reason I should have) forcing them to push forward.
