There Stand Empire: Danube 1809

I have the Austrians
and Alex has the

The stated off with a cavalry charge... My Hussars countered..
They drove back both french cavalry units though were blown in the process but the French dragoons also with drew
The battle settles in to a back and for of artillery and musket fire
My troops nort of the village threatened the French flank
French units rally are demoralized and rally again ... My friekorps take advantage of moment of rench weakness to charge and drive off an infantry brigade.
Both sides are teetering on the edge of breaking
The French rally, charge of of the village and break my Frekrops brigade but then take artillery in the flank and rear my Grenzer's charge the battery holing the village and take the guns though disordered.  The French army breaks, if Alex had held his position in the village he would probably have won.

Two San Juan Nepomuceno Class

These are a Pair of San Jan Nepomuceno Ships of the line Printed by Arofan from Simon Mann's excellent files.

These were considered solid ships of the line admired by many for their sailing qualities and strong construction.

The Name sake of the class the San Jan Nepomunceno (some times called Neptuno by the English) had a brave crew. One of the last to strike at Trafalgar after being totally battered  into submission.

US Battle Line

My Japanese Battleships need some opponents so here they are.

Two modern Fast Battleships a South Dakota class and a North Carolina class. Both would be somewhat outclassed by Yamato but are more modern than rest of the Japanese Battleships.

Two Tennessee class Battleship or perhaps it would be better to call them Dreadnoughts. They carry twelve 14" guns similar to the older Japanese Battleships.
Two Colorado class Battleship carrying eight 16" guns the same armament as the Nagato class of Japanese Battleships. They are slower than the Nagatos but are a bit better armored. I used the prewar paint scheme for US Battleships with the turret color coded to make it easier for their spotter planes to find them.

Japanese Battle Line

Some more Japanese Battle ships.  Two Fuso Class at the top these are the old ladies of the Japanese battle line, still they have twelve 14-Inch guns mounted in twin turrets Making them a decent match for older US battleships.  In the middle are the two Nagato Class Roughly the equivalent of the US Colorado class(though a bit faster). Dangerous ships with eight 16-inch guns.  Last of all they legendary Yamato a monster of a modern fast Battleship Yamato's stats are well know a match for any US Battle ship One on One and quite possibly a match with many at two on one.

Tannenburg 1914: Guarding the Flank

on comes the Russian Hoard.

They get hit pretty hard

but recover and hit the German train
Russian cavalry rides down Prussian Reservists
Jager's prove more resilient but damage is done to both sides
German fire takes its toll after the cavalry charge
Both sides are getting hammered as troops are hit, rally and get hit again.
the German line is falling back....  but is not broken and is still fighting take out one of y cavalry and an artillery piece
German fire breaks my army a fun game I had the German's on the ropes a different imitative order once or twice and I might have won
